David Gratton, DDS, MS, is an Assistant Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, and Clinical Director, Center for Implant Dentistry, at The University of Iowa. He teaches fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics at the predoctoral and graduate levels, both didactically and clinically. Dr. Gratton received his DDS from The University of Michigan in 1994, and his Certificate in Prosthodontics and MS from The University of Iowa in 1996 and 1997 respectively. He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology and a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, and American Association for Dental Research. He serves on the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry as well as the International Journal of Prosthodontics. Dr. Gratton has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters, and lectures internationally. Dr. Gratton participates in an intramural prosthodontic practice at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
